Information We Collect From Homeowners

When a homeowner submits an HVAC request, we collect information needed to evaluate, attribute, route, and operate that request. This may include name, phone, email, preferred contact method, city, county, ZIP code, service type, urgency, and a description of the HVAC issue.

We may also record technical and attribution information such as hashed IP or device evidence, landing page, referring page, cookies, campaign identifiers, ad-set identifiers, ad identifiers, lead-form identifiers, placement, click identifiers, and marketing parameters. These records support request attribution, direct contractor delivery, abuse prevention, analytics, security, and transaction evidence.

Contractor Account and Campaign Information

Contractors may provide company name, contact information, website, license information, service areas, service types, campaign targets, budget selections, ad copy, creative URLs or assets, lead-destination preferences, and communication settings.

We use this information to create and operate accounts, configure managed advertising campaigns, publish approved advertising through connected platforms, attribute and deliver leads, display campaign status and performance, provide support, prevent misuse, and maintain operational and dispute records.

Advertising Platforms and Campaign Attribution

When a contractor authorizes a managed campaign, we may send campaign configuration, targeting, budgets, ad copy, creative references, Page identifiers, destination information, and related settings to advertising providers such as Meta. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Advertising platforms may return campaign, ad-set, ad, form, spend, impression, click, conversion, and lead information. We use these records to monitor campaign status, calculate performance, enforce funded budget limits, troubleshoot delivery, attribute homeowner requests, and route eligible leads to the correct contractor.

Advertising attribution is not always complete or exact. We may use multiple identifiers and operational rules to resolve attribution. Unmatched or ambiguous requests may be reviewed or handled through the optional shared marketplace rather than delivered directly.

Direct Campaign Lead Delivery

When a homeowner request is attributed to an active contractor-funded campaign, the platform may assign the request directly to that contractor and provide the contact and request details needed to follow up. Delivery may occur through the contractor portal and transactional email.

Participating contractors are independent businesses and may use delivered homeowner information only for the related HVAC request. They may not sell, redistribute, publish, scrape, or use the information for unrelated marketing. Contractors are responsible for their own legal compliance and information-security practices after authorized delivery.

Optional Shared Marketplace

The platform may also operate a shared lead marketplace. Free contractor accounts may browse redacted information such as service type, general location, ZIP code, urgency, age, summary, and credit price. Redacted previews do not include homeowner name, phone, email, street address, or complete private message.

After a valid marketplace claim, the claiming contractor receives the homeowner details needed to respond to that request. Marketplace subscriptions and claims are separate from contractor-funded advertising campaigns.

Payments, Funding, Credits, and Transaction Evidence

Payment information is collected and processed by payment providers. We do not store complete card numbers. We may store customer, checkout, payment, subscription, invoice, campaign-funding, refund, and dispute identifiers and records needed to operate billing.

We may retain accepted policy versions, timestamps, campaign configurations, funding authorizations, advertising identifiers, spend records, subscription details, credit ledgers, lead assignments, delivery timestamps, email events, audit logs, and hashed technical evidence. These records support security, accounting, service delivery, support, and accurate evaluation of billing or delivery disputes.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate homeowner requests, contractor accounts, managed advertising, campaign funding, lead attribution, direct delivery, optional marketplace subscriptions and claims, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, security, support, legal compliance, and enforcement of our terms.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand campaign and platform performance, improve routing, estimate advertising costs, monitor service quality, and develop platform features.

How We Share Information

We do not sell homeowner contact lists. We may share information with the participating contractor authorized to receive a specific request, and with service providers supporting hosting, authentication, databases, advertising, payments, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, and legal compliance.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect users or platform rights, to investigate fraud or security incidents, to enforce agreements, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

Cookies, Pixels, and Analytics

We may use required cookies for authentication and security and configured analytics or advertising technologies, including pixels, to measure site activity and attribute marketing. Marketing tags are not intentionally sent homeowner private details from our database.

Browser and device settings may provide controls for cookies and advertising technologies. Disabling required authentication or security cookies may prevent account features from functioning. Advertising-platform controls may also affect how those providers use data.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate requests, campaigns, funding, billing, attribution, lead delivery, marketplace activity, support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Retention periods differ by record type and legal requirement.

We use administrative and technical safeguards including access controls, row-level database protections, redacted previews, server-side credentials, webhook signature verification, hashed technical evidence, audit records, and restricted contractor access. No transmission, advertising platform, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Contact

You may contact us to ask questions, update eligible account information, change communication preferences, or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some campaign, payment, attribution, delivery, security, accounting, and dispute records may need to be retained.

Homeowners may use available communication opt-out methods. Contractors can manage eligible campaign, billing, and notification settings through the portal. Pausing a campaign does not necessarily erase prior advertising, attribution, payment, or lead-delivery records.
